7/8 Technology

Technology: Friday 14th February 2020

Today is our first time going to tech on Fridays we go to Hornby high School. This is my second year going to tech, this year we have the year 6s from last year with us, we have year 7 & 8s Last year we went on Mondays afternoon but now it's Friday which is good.

Before the bell we lined up to go to the bus outside our school, the bus only takes not even 5 mins to Hornby high. We waited for the Hornby teachers to collect us then we have our first period which is 40 mins. In that time we had Mr Heath for science it was exciting for me first we had to go through this sheet for safety things, then Mr Heath electrocute us by this box thing. He winds it and the whole group expect for some people held hands and Tyler & I were holding the medal thing that gave us pins & needles's feeling. It went thought everyone's hand they thought it was scary.

After science we had Mr Rees for medal, we only had 10 mins until Morning tea, For medal we have to make something a key ring out of something I made a wave shape with my name on it , others made a whale, a shape. We did all the things we were supposed to do. Cute, file, Drill & ingrave. We didn't need to bend ours but bending was an option.

Tech was really fun at the end.
I was kinda getting distracted with all the noise but overall i'm proud of my work! :)

What I enjoyed: I enjoyed when I got electrocuted in science
What I've found hard: I found the coping saw a bit hard when I was trying to make my design
What I would do differently: I would make my name or a different shape
