Māori Meanings

Kia ora,

This week we have been researching some words in Te Reo Maori. We were told to find out the meaning of the Maori words that are on my biteable! In this video, I tried my best finding out the meaning of the words on a Maori Dictionary because google translate is you know... sometimes a lie. So the words are down below:)

  1. Nice work Jorja, I like the description before your DLO. It made me laugh when you said google translate is sometimes a lie! Well done on finding the meaning, the words I did know were correct!
I look forward to seeing more of your work over the next few weeks,
    Miss Morgan

  2. Hi Jorja
Great work on your Maori meanings. It was easy to read. Tip for next time maybe could you use a voice over so we know if we are pronouncing the words correctly??
    Keep up the great work.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
