Beginning My Summer Learning Journery

Week 1: In The Beginning

Activtiy ONE: The First Settlers 

Māui is a demi god from Māori myths and legends. Here are some interesting facts that I have found out about him.

1. Māui was the youngest of his brothers and was getting into trouble alot.

2. You will not find Hawaiki on a map, but it is believed Māori came from an island or group of islands in Polynesia in the South Pacific Ocean.

3.  There are distinct similarities between the Māori language and culture and others of Polynesia including the Cook Islands, Hawaii, and Tahiti.

I watched the movie Moana where Māui was the demi god who helped Moana save her land. He was very arrogant and stubborn. He has magic powers and could turn into different animals (shape-shifter).

I like them

Because they are always cute and they love climbing trees  

Because they so fluffy

Because they are nice and sometimes scary  

Because they say ooh ahh  

Because their soft and I love them  

Because their hang on branch to branch with their hairy arms

Because their fur is soft and they are cuddly

This Saturday, My Best friend “Shelby and I are going to riccarton TimeZone for my birthday because my birthday is on the 23rd of may and on the 20th she going to her dad’s so we are doing it on the 13th of may”. “Rouru is taking us to TimeZone and for dinner we are going to Pizza and for lunch Rouru Tahlia and Daniel we all had M’c donalds she going to have a sleepover at my Mum’s” and we are going to watch a horror movie in bed with lollies. And she is going to my netball game my game is 8.40 in the morning and my sister Brielle game is 12.20 in the morning as well.

Saturday Morning

Last Saturday I woke up at 7:00 clock in the morning when I got up I had a milo. After my milo I got  dressed into my netball gear my sister Brielle she got into her netball gear as well. My best friend Shelby came to my netball game at 8:40 and that when is started. In the morning after that we came home. So I can get dressed when my Mum was driving home Mum stopped at a diary she got some smoke’s when she got that she got us some lollies. And Shelby and I had a hot chocolate at home after all that Mum dropped Shelby and I to Rouru’s when we went to Rouru’s. We went to TIMEZONE Rouru, Daniel, Tahlia, Shelby and I came to. First we went to  Northlands to get print of paper for my Mum for Mother’s day. And  from smiggle Tahlia got a lamp that she is lucky and I got a bag ring that it smells so good and on it it’s got a J and it’s got spike’s on it and it feels nice . Shelby Tahlia and I went on the Kid’s playground and after that  to Riccarton when we got their. We went to McDonald’s for lunch and then we got  to TIMEZONE. We played Racing games the lollie game and we got bag of lollies. And at my Mum’s we watched Pretty little liars in my Mum’s bed. For dinner we had pizza hut before dinner. “Mum Shelby and I went to New world” to get some lollies for bed. The lollies that we got was Jelly beans, Skittles, and chicken chips and also sparkling duet. “In bed Shelby and I started watching Norbit, Big Mama’s House, 2 Pretty little liars which is sad and the Boss Baby”. On Sunday morning Shelby woke me up about 6:45 to go on the computer. Later after” Mum Andre, Mum Shelby and I took Shelby to Ann’s which is her’s Mum’s house”.
