My Culture!

Kia Ora,

WALT investigate cultures and traditions within the class

In Room 5 every student had to make a DLO about their culture , like our Food, National flower, History, Family tradition and more :) Those are the things my teacher told me to add in the slideshow.

This term for Interegated Learning, we are looking at Taonga. Taonga is a Māori word, and it's  a treasure or something precious to you that you have kept. Any kind of object or resource that has been kept for long time ago, or passed into generations. Taonga: I think that means what describes about you, or whats your culture!

I haven't finished any of the slides! Please be patient, I will work on these in my own time!

Please comment if I need something to change!

My Taonga

WALT define and identify our own 'Taonga'

This term, we are going to focus about Taonga and what it is to us. For our task, we looked at some pictures that were put up on the screen and thought of reasons why it can be precious/special to us, we had to make a poster about what Taonga is to us. Taonga is a Māori word, and it's  a treasure or something precious to you that you have kept. Any kind of object or resource that has been kept for long time ago, or passed into generations. Taonga: I think that means what describes about you, or whats your culture!
